Another chunk of meat, I mean, actor is heading to “Jurassic World.” Hot on the heels of this weeks casting news, comes word that a veteran actor may soon join the cast of young stars.
The Wrap is reporting that Josh Brolin is currently being “eyed” for the lead role in the upcoming “Jurassic Park” sequel. According to the source, Brolin is waiting to hear an offer before he accepts the role. Brolin would join a cast that includes Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, and Bryce Dallas Howard. The film is being directed by Colin Trevorrow from a script he wrote with Derek Connolly.
Josh Brolin can next be seen in Spike Lee’s “Oldboy” and Robert Rodriguez’s “Sin City” sequel. The man certainly leads an active career, which is fine by me. I happen to think he’s a fantastic actor and look forward to seeing what he’d bring to the Jurassic Park universe.
The Universal Pitures film is due out on June 12, 2015.
