How many of you guys followed Kevin Tancharoen’s Mortal Kombat: Legacy web-seires as well as his fan film Mortal Kombat: Re-Birth? Yeah, it was pretty killer stuff, so it made sense that he was going to helm the big-screen debut. Sadly, this is no longer the case.
Recently Kevin Tancharoen took to Twitter to announce the following;
After 3 years of Kombat,I’ve decided to move on to other creative
opportunities. I wish everyone involved in the movie big success. Thanks!
The news comes as a major blow for the planned reboot, but it still appears as if the film will go ahead. Still, seeing what Tancharoen could have done on the big-screen would have been awesome. I guess us Mortal Kombat fans wait some more, I mean, we’re pretty much use to waiting, right?
