And your point? They’re treating it like it’s new because it’s been stuck in hell since 2006 when the original distributor went bankrupt, The director has spent since 2006 trying to get the film back from the bank…It never got released in the US on EU

Marc Hughes clearly knows the horror genre well. All the Boys Love Mandy Lane has been STUCK without a proper release since 2006.

My point is that my country already has the movie in store sinds 2008… here it was straight-to-dvd, it didnt even make it to the theatre… the movie is not that good…

The film was originally supposed to be released in 2007 by the Weinstein Company (via their Dimension Films label), but due to the failure of Grindhouse, among other horror films, the Weinstein Company sold the film to Senator Entertainment US. Senator, who at the time was setting up their own distribution company, later went out of business, and the film has been held in limbo with other unreleased projects since.

I have not seen it yet since I a) do not pirate movies and b) it has not been released anywhere where I can buy it even on DVD.

And yeah I am a hardcore horror fan.
