People who spoil deserve a zombie’s death (decapitation)

        • Becky October 14, 2013 at 11:34 pm

actually, decapitating a zombie does nothing. Because decapitation is removing the head from the body. It has to be the brain. Derp!

It was really good. Funny, intense and nice too see how they lived and progressed the last 8 months. Season is going to be brutal just by seeing this episode.

      4. Jesse Kellogg October 14, 2013 at 3:44 am

Glad to see more Walker’s! And a side to Rick thats showing he may be losing it. The tease between Darryl and Carol at the beginning was cool as well. Overall I give it about a 7.5

      7. J.t. Smith October 14, 2013 at 4:11 am

Dixon didn’t die. In fact, he’s a savior like rock star. Other than that and the guest stars, is wasn’t bad. The zombies on the other hand looked way cooler. You can def tell a more advanced state of decay. And the “guts” was a fist pumper. LoL

      8. Robert Duchi October 14, 2013 at 4:52 am

It seemed a little sappy at first ,with rick the farmer, michonne coming back ,story time then it got a Lil dirty and bloody sick and we all knew who was gonna live and die !

      9. azram63 October 14, 2013 at 6:03 am

There was a dead pig in the yard and dead and dying animals in the woods. The kid got sick and died at the end. There is some sort of sickness that is going to start wiping out the group in the prison forcing them to leave.

Faith was semi restored, that was a decent episode. Still skeptical after last season’s shitty second half, but ima keep watching.

It suckered you in at first acting all touchy feely, then delivered some blows…..over all pretty good….I think its going to be quite a season…

Incredible as expected. Times gone bye and life’s progressed. The walkers look spectacular and the episode was a very nice introduction to season 4. Big Thumbs up from me.

When Patrick dies at the end, I had to reflect on the whole episode and review. One of the first things you see Patrick do, is introduce himself to Daryl and shake his hand saying he is his hero. Then Patrick takes over for Carol serving up the food…Okay, that can’t be good. Then you remember the sick pig, and how it was dead towards the end. Remember when Rick was gardening and found that gun buried? I’m pretty sure there are some dead bodies in the soil as well. So lets review…This could be an airborne contagion, it could be viral, it could be bacterial. Maybe when you die, you turn into a zombie, okay to kill a zombie, you shoot them in the head…but maybe that doesn’t kill the virus, so when you plant over dead bodies, maybe the food is now being contaminated.

        • Becky October 14, 2013 at 11:37 pm

I like it. My only concern is that they are going to have zombie animals. I’m going to be pretty disappointed if that happens.

      27. robert October 15, 2013 at 3:54 am

        Totally LAME!!!

      28. Billy Rock October 15, 2013 at 5:44 pm

I was extremely disappointed by it. Painfully predictable, unexciting, and no attempt to be original with the episode at all.

Rick tells Carl not to name the pig. Carl goes on to tell kids not to name the zombies. Can they make these moral message transitions any more blatantly obvious? I can’t imagine how they would.

Carol flirts with Darryl at the beginning and near the end you get the feeling they will introduce a love triangle drama with Darryl Carol and Darryl Beth after that hug she (Beth) gives him. Carol will be hurt. Tension will ensue within the group. I miss the early days when zombies were a new threat, when surviving the apocalypse was the main focus. It’s turned into a lame soap opera with a mild zombie background noise. The complacency of it all is just…bleh.

You can only show knives, swords and crowbars being shoved into zombies foreheads through a chain link fence so many times before it becomes annoying…and that so many times mark was passed quite a while ago.

Also, OMG! Zombies on the roof!! Who saw that coming??!?! Everybody with a brain, and probably even a few people without. They really need to expand on their suspense development because the way they are overusing the ‘oops there is a herd of zombies in this location that I thought was actually safe’ gag has gotten extremely tiresome.

Wardrobe should have dressed Zack in a Star Trek red shirt because we all knew he was going along on the run just to be the guy who would get killed when whatever was going to go wrong went wrong. Yawn, yawn and more yawn.

        • Dennis Francis October 16, 2013 at 3:45 am

You do realize you DONT have to watch right?

Go ahead and attack the show when about 16 million more tuned in and loved it. The show is not about action, its about story and character development. And for it to make you THIS upset. The show wins and had done its job.

      29. Pat Gregg October 16, 2013 at 1:51 am

Overall I enjoyed it. There were a few things that I thought were lacking. A couple (maybe all) things have been mentioned.
        1) Introducing Zack. It was pretty obvious he was brought in to be killed. I always loved the fact that the show would build up a character for us to form about an opinion about one way or the other, then kill them. This was ham handed.
        2) The zombies coming through the roof??? Seriously, it got to be a bit too much. One zombie, maybe two. Have the noise attract others that create an obstacle. That would have been fine.
Other than those 2 i thought the episode was good. I liked the fact that Rick seems to be gaining his sanity back. His trek into the woods with Clair was interesting.
Carol and the knives??? I didn’t quite get the issue with that.

      30. Pat Gregg October 16, 2013 at 2:06 am

Otherwise, I think they laid some nice groundwork for the coming season. Is what killed Patrick a mutated form of what brought about the apocolypse? Is it a more benign, but jsut as deadly threat? I get what people are saying about the first two seasons being more exciting. Yes, the second half of the thrid season was drawn out. Who didn’t know that Andrea and Merle woud die? With past seasons, everyone is going along, doing their thing and BANG they’re dead. It was a shock, it was a loss. They moved too far away from that. Frnakly, introducing characters simply to kill them off with no emotional attachment to the audience cheapens the experience.
So, where will this season take us? I hope they can take it in a direction that advances the story. Get back into making morally ambiguous characters like Shane. Was he a bad guy, or was he a guy put into an impossible situation that did bad things, or at least things that we’d like believe we wouldn’t do ourselves

Turning into a boring drama the last two episodes were very boring and melodramitic
