Alex Ross The Walking Dead PosterThis has become quite the annual thing when it comes to The Walking Dead. Here we have another season premiere and once again, AMC’s The Walking Dead has broke new ratings records once again.

According to Deadline, Sunday nights premiere of The Walking Dead season 4, scored record viewership as the series pulled in 16.1 million views with 10.4 million among adults 18-49. While NBC’s Sunday Night Football airing of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Redskins game was watched by 19.65 million. It had 9.32 million viewers among adults 18-49, which means that The Walking Dead beat it and everything else in the key demo season thus far.

The season 3 premiere of The Walking Dead, was watched by 10.9 million viewers and 7.3 million in the 18-49 and 25-54 demos. This at the time was the record high, but Sunday nights premiere, once again broke new records.

So, what did you think of the premiere episode? Has it set up the new season well?
