Machete Kills Hits Blu-ray & DVD This January

Chris Savage

hr_Machete_Kills_14Judging by the box-office figures, Machete Kills took a terrible nose dive. But, is it as bad as the figures suggest?

I doubt it as I loved the trailers, so if you’re like me and haven’t seen this one yet, then perhaps home video is what you have been waiting for? So, head on down below for all the details regarding the home video release of the film.

The film is set for a release on Blu-ray and DVD this January 21st.

The Blu-ray™ Combo Pack includes a Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD with UltraViolet.

Bonus Features on Blu-ray and DVD

  • Making of Machete Kills

As you can see, this one looks to be pretty much bare bones, but if you are not too fussed about added features then this one may be a must for you if you’re looking to check this one out or simply add it to your collection.

Anyway, let us know what you thought of the film?

The first one was definitely the best!!! The story line was not as good. Seemed like they did a major rush job on this movie.

I really enjoyed this film in theaters, it’s a shame that people didn’t support it better by going. They gave you the entire drive-in experience with extra footage pointing at another film he’ll be in. From the looks of it that one will most likely be straight to disc since no one supported this one. If that keeps up they’ll discontinue making these films since there isn’t an audience for it anymore. That’s a shame to say but it’s the truth from the results of this film. Investors need to turn a profit not eat it, that’s what happened here but it shouldn’t have. These types of films are all about the action & adventure not really a plot driven film. There meant for fun & enjoyment. These types of films are really targeted towards people from the 70’s & 80’s who loved going to see movies at the drive-in. I remember those times very well. We all need to support films better or they’ll end up dying out. Hopefully that doesn’t happen but with these type of results it doesn’t help. After you watch it on disc you’ll had wished you would’ve gone to the theaters to see it. I wonder if they’ll provide the same extra footage before the actual film started and also after the film ended pointing to yet another film they’ve been doing in this series. I’ll have to wait and see.
