Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness Controversy

Herner Klenthur

Earlier today Luke posted the Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness and it was probably one of the coolest short films I have ever seen. Many of you agreed! MARVEL however was not impressed with the fan video.

The video was yanked after a copyright complaint by MARVEL and the filmmakers are politely indignant about it. They literally are begging MARVEL to put the short film back up and want the world to see it.

They have a video response below to MARVEL for yanking their fan film which they did not try to monetize and made on their own dime. Was Marvel right or wrong in removing the film?

Watch the filmmakers video response below.

Wolverine wouldn’t become a zombie anyways! His body is constantly healing itself so the infection wouldn’t take hold, he would fight it off!

I imagine, now that Disney owns this, was most likely the offended culprit. In the city I grew up in there was a daycare that painted a few cartoon characters on their wall, two were Disney. Disney got wind of this and ordered them removed or they would sue.

Just pure jealousy that this was better than ANY shitty Marvel movie put out in the past 10 years. Just slap it up on Vimeo, and tell Marvel to go eat dick.

Disney let a movie come out that people secretly filmed in their theme parks and are actually making money off of but THIS short isn’t OK?!?!
