Veteran’s Remembrance Day: Remember The Sacrifice!

Herner Klenthur

Today is Remembrance Day or Veterans day and on this very grim day we want to salute the brave men and women around the world who work hard to make sure that you and I can live in peace.

As a fan site we spend our days taking about horror movies and debating menial things like ‘what films are best’ and ‘who our favorite actors are’. The ability to be able to do this freely without oppression is just one of the many things we owe to the men and women who fight for freedom and justice around the world.

Today we remember the people who lost their lives in the many wars around the world and those who have sacrificed the greatest thing of all to bring peace to the world, their lives.

Whether we believe in the politics or the agenda of the cause we can all show respect for those who gave their lives for a greater good… peace!

Today we bow our heads in respect to our fallen heroes from around the world.

Yes, as an old soldier , and lover of horror films, please remember , for all the horrors you’ve seen on the screen , these men and women have seen the real thing face to face. So, I personally, thank all the young men and women serving today, and they have my deepest respect .

I take my hat off to all of those men and women that are serving in the armed services now and in the past. We owe our freedom and sense of security to these brave and giving people and I for one wholeheartedly want to thank them for providing me with a safe home. You deserve every honor you are given and so much more!

Anyone in the free world with any sense of gratitude must respect that.
People in my country can be real dicks when it comes to USA, but I am not one of those. I have the deepest respect for any democracy based on the principles of freedom. And I am glad my country chose US side during the cold war, otherwise I would probably not be an horror fan.
        God Bless all the heroes.
