Warner Bros & New Line Actually Developing Three ‘The Conjuring’ Spin-Offs!?

Chris Savage

The Conjuring True StoryAs you all know, The Conjuring basically dominated the box-office and the result was that the film became one of the highest grossing horror movies of all time, which is pretty damn awesome. Now I know many of you disliked the film, but that hasn’t stopped the powers that be developing a sequel.

Also, we recently learned that they’re also planning a spin-off based on the sinister doll, Annabelle, but it appears as if there is still a lot more oil in the tank.

According to our friends over at B-D, Warner Bros. and New Line, are planning three micro-budgeted spin-offs with one of them being the Annabelle spin-off.

John R. Leonetti will be directing the Annabelle spin-off, which is said to be a prequel to the events that occurred in James Wan’s The Conjuring. The film is expected to begin production as early as December.

Now, for the other two spin-offs, unfortunately we have no information on them or which direction they will take so who knows where they will lead if they actually go ahead.

In any event, let us know your thoughts on this breakthrough.

Why does everything have to be a franchise these days? I wouldn’t mind if more movies were made based on their cases, but they don’t need to be part of a franchise. :/
