Five More Actors Join The Purge 2

Jason McDonald

“The Purge 2” continues to assemble a new batch of actors to endure the one night of the year where all crime is legal.  Last week we learned that actor Frank Grillo had been cast as the lead actor, this week we’re learning about five new additions.

From The Hollywood Reporter we’re hearing that actors Micheal K. Williams (“Boardwalk Empire”), Carmen Ejogo (“Alex Cross”), Zach Gilford (“Devil’s Due”), and Kiele Sanchez (“The Glades”) have signed on for the sequel to the 2013 hit.

Meanwhile, Deadline is reporting today that actress/singer Zoe Soul has also been cast in the film.  Zoe was most recently seen in “Prisoners” which is a fantastic drama that I would highly recommend seeing.

With production this early, it should come as no surprise that we do not yet know who these actors will play.  However, we do know that the story will once again take place in a world where all crime is legal for one 12-hour period in the year.

James DeMonaco will once again return to “The Purge” as writer and director.  The sequel is set to hit theaters on June 20th, 2014.

This movie was nothing more than typical liberal Hollywood anti-white garbage. They took what was an excellent idea for a movie and destroyed it. Part 2 will be more of the same except worse.

The purge was fantastic. It was very scary and smart.
