If you haven’t seen the mid-season finale of “The Walking Dead”, then this article may spoil some stuff for you. If you don’t care, well, then carry on!
Sometimes you just can’t keep a good villain down. It seemed like only yesterday that we were speculating over whether or not the Governor would return once again to terrorize Rick and his crew. This season we learned the answer to that question and we seemingly saw the last of the malevolent leader.
However, could the fine folks at AMC possibly bring back David Morrissey for one last gasp? While speaking with the PA, the actor dropped a few tantalizing hints as to whether or not he would return again.
“Something happened to him. I feel like a shady politician where I can’t confirm and I can’t deny anything. Certainly, bad things befell him at the end of the last episode but we just have to wait and see.”
Is David simply giving us the old “tease and leave” or is there substance to his vague suggestions? We’ll have to wait till February 9th when “The Walking Dead” returns to AMC to find out, but I have a a feeling we haven’t seen the last of the Governor.
I’m calling it now: Ghosts will be the next big threat.
Or he’ll probably show up in a typical crazy Rick hallucination.
