Sundance Teaser for Dead Snow: Red Vs Dead

Jason McDonald

With 2013 crawling to an end, we’re only several weeks away from the start of Sundance 2014.  Many high profile movies with art house sensibilities will be making their debut at Sundance, but when the sun goes down and Robert Redford goes to bed, the horror movies will come out to play.

A few weeks ago we told you all about the Park City Midnight lineup which features a delicious menu of brand new horror selections.  Among them is “Dead Snow: Red Vs Dead”, the sequel to 2009’s “Dead Snow”.  Before today we only had a few images to entice our imagination, but now they’ve released a new teaser trailer in time to promote the film’s premiere at Sundance.

The gruesome Nazi Zombies are back to finish their mission, but our hero is not willing to die. He is gathering his own army to give them a final fight.

The film stars Vegar Hoel, Stig Frode Henriksen, Martin Starr, Ørjan Gamst, Ingrid Haas, and Jocelyn DeBoer. “Dead Snow: Red vs Dead” is being directed by Tommy Wirkola, based on a script he wrote with Stig Frode Henriksen and Vegar Hoel.

“Dead Snow: Red vs Dead” premieres on January 19th, 2014.  For more information on how you can get tickets, be sure to visit Sudance’s official page.
