Terminator 5 to be Titled Terminator: Genesis?

Chris Savage

The TerminatorAll of a sudden, The Terminator is everywhere once again. We recently reported that a new Terminator TV show is on the horizon from the same folks behind the latest film, which is also set to be written by Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller. But, as for the forthcoming film, just what will it be titled as, simply Terminator 5 or something else?

Well, over at Production Weekly, they have the fifth film billed as Terminator: Genesis, but as for now, I would simply file this one under as rumor until it is made official. But as the fifth film is said to be the first in a stand-alone trilogy it does make some sort of sense.

But who knows, these things could be titled something one day, and then the next they are titled as something completely different.

Anyway, Terminator 5 or Terminator: Genesis is to be directed by Alan Taylor from a script penned by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier.

The film is scheduled for a July 2015 release which will once again see Arnold Schwarzenegger return to the fold, not his CGI counterpart.

Wont do as well as T2 James Cameron left a void in the script which should’ve included the death of Sarah Connor, The traveling into the future. It’s gonna be horrible because it doesn’t scare you anymore.
