Bates Motel Season Two Premiere Date Announced

Jason McDonald

If you’ve been aching to get back into the “Bates Motel” for another round of drama and intrigue, then there’s finally good news on the horizon.  A&E has just announced the premiere date for season two, and you only have to read fifteen more words to find out when it is.

“Bates Motel” season two kicks off on March 3rd, which is similar to last season’s premiere date.  We don’t know too much about the coming season, but given the way things spiraled out of control last year, it’s going to be a hell of a ride.

If you missed out on last season, find a way to catch up, because it’s worthwhile.  The series is a re-imagined telling of Norman Bates’ youth.  The show not only fleshes out the relationship between Norman and his mother Norma, but also between him and his estranged brother.  It also explores the dark secrets hidden away in the quiet little town that Norma has settled her family into.

While the series isn’t too horrific, it certainly offers a compelling look at an iconic movie character while telling a twisted and intriguing story.

No anthony perkins that’s for sure but the kid from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory isn’t too bad in the role.

I don’t mind this show, but it’s not what I thought. Some of the subplots are average, and just hold my interest enough. There are a few great episodes that pop into my mind. I think they need to step it up a little bit.

I just couldnt get into this show. I watched the first 3 episodes then gave up on it because the performances were stiff and dull and a lot of what they were dealing with was just completely unnecessary to me.
