Chris Savage 16 Comments Movie Page: Charlie’s Farm

For you guys today we have a very intriguing flick on the horizon and it comes from down under. From Chris Sun (Daddy’s Little Girl, Come and Get Me) comes his slasher film, Charlie’s Farm, and not only does the concept sound awesome, the talent involved is freakin’ stellar!

Charlie’s Farm is set to star Bill Moseley, Kane Hodder, Tara Reid, Nathan Jones, and Cameron Caufield.

According to our friends over at HorrorBug, the film is slated for an Australian release this June 5, 2015. But that’s not all. Shoreline Entertainment is set to pick up the film for a release Internationally.

SynopsisIn an effort to do something different, four friends head into Australia’s outback to explore Charlie’s Farm, the site where a violent family met their end at the hands of an angry mob. Despite all warnings, they persist in their horror-seeking adventure. Once there, the four friends meet other transients and find Charlie’s Farm to be anything but horror inspiring. They are unaware that they are being watched. While exploring the property to prove the myth, they encounter Charlie, who shows them that some legends never die.

While we wait for more on this one, we have scored some early concept art below. Also be sure to let us know what you make of this one so far?

Sounds like it will be suitably gory! I’ll watch for more info on it. I have many fans in Aussie land, none named Charlie, yet!

Hey guys, just a quick answer to the questions. At this time there is no trailer as it is still in the very early stages. As for Kane Hodder, no, he will not be playing Charlie. That role goes to powerlifting champion Nathan Jones, who is also a professional wrestler as well as an actor.

        “Horror Has A New King?”

        Really? Lol.

I thought Victor Crowley was going to be the new face of Horror/slasher.

Nathan Jones is most definitely going to play Charlie… It’s obvious. He’s 7ft tall and Austrailian…duh

‘Concept sounds awesome’? It sounds exactly like a million other movies that are slasher out for the sale of it! Not expecting anything original with this one.

Love slashers, LOVE Bill and Kane – I was a little miffed to see Mr. Voorhees’ hockey mask on a pitchfork (Jason is my favorite) – but this cheeky bastard, Charlie, it would appear, is claiming to have defeated four horror icons. This I gotta see.
