Full Length Trailer for From Dusk Till Dawn the Series

It was just seventeen days ago that we got our first taste of the Gecko brothers in action.  Though it was just a short teaser trailer, it was enough to get people riled up over the idea of a “From Dusk Till Dawn” TV show.

Now El Rey Network has hit us with a full length trailer which features two and a half minutes of blood, sex, and people being cool.  Check it out below.

The series is based on the Robert Rodriguez film of the same name that was originally released in 1996.  That movie featured Quentin Tarantino and George Clooney as the Gecko brothers, a pair of psychotic bank robbers who kidnap a family after their latest robbery.  When the group takes a detour to a brothel in Mexico, they soon learn that the establishment is run by vampires.

How that’ll translate to a television series remains to be seen, but Robert Rodriguez has promised that the series will expand upon the history of the characters.  For instance, we’ll get to see what the Gecko brothers were up to before we saw them in the film.

“From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series” hits the El Rey Network on March 11th.

The thing I like about this trailer is that there is Big Kahuna Burger in 02:06 timecode.
I wonder if they will smoke Red Apples cigarettes, like in the original movie and other Quentin films.
But I am not impressed, and without Mr. Tarantino writing (he wrote the screenplay for the original) I have little faith in it.
