A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night Trailer, Future Criterion Classic?

Herner Klenthur

From IndieWire comes the trailer for a movie that nobody on our site has been talking about but will be now. With the visual styles of the classic Criterion movies A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night looks like it could be the next big thing. Now if only the trailer was not so damn short. Then again that is part of the charm of it.

Strange things are afoot in Bad City. The Iranian ghost town, home to prostitutes, junkies, pimps and other sordid souls, is a bastion of depravity and hopelessness where a lonely vampire stalks its most unsavory inhabitants. But when boy meets girl, an unusual love story begins to blossom… blood red.

Checkout the trailer below no word on when it will be released.

Why do fans of Criterion films needs to see that vague and uninteresting trailer? Because it’s black and white?
