It’s Bigger Than Big… It’s Megafoot! And It Needs Your Help

Chris Savage

Over the past few years we have seen many Sasquatch films come and go, but none have been as intriguing as Megafoot. A part cyborg, part Bigfoot monster, and it’s just yearning for you to get involved and help create one of the most original and unique films in quite sometime. It looks awesome (just check out the killer poster below), and we have the first details regarding the upcoming flick.

Megafoot is set to be directed by Rolfe Kanefsky, but at this time they need your help. So, if this is something that you’re interested in, make your way over to their IndieGoGo page and see how you can help bring this sucker to life.

Synopsis:  A highly classified experiment accidentally unleashes a top secret killing machine known as MEGAFOOT. Part Cyborg, Part Bigfoot. All Terror! And now it’s up to an elite squad of soldiers to track down the beast and kill it before it destroys everyone and everything in its path. A married couple, a group of college students, the scientists who know the truth, and some not-too friendly locals are about to confront their worst nightmare in this action-packed, horror thriller, gore-ride that’s bigger than big… It’s MEGAFOOT!

Let us know what you make of this one, and even if you can’t spare any money, a simple share is more than enough to get this seen by as many people as possible.

N ice poster art. Loved the IndiGo-Go spoof too. A bit much on the comical side though, instead of the scientist playing a tad more serious role to sell the idea of a cyborg-Yeti. Is this gonna be a straight up bad B-horror flick like Sharknado (aka “so bad its good” variety), or at least mildly entertaining & fun, like either Planet Terror or Piranha 3D?

I really enjoy my monster flicks with an equal dose of campiness, sci-fi terror, and decent SFX (the less sub-standard CGI the better). But NOT as in more recent original SyFy network movies or Asylum releases, which only seem to become worse as the next movie title gets released…..let’s hope for much better — WAY BETTER! — success in Megafoot’s case.
