I’ve actually been re-watching a lot of the old episodes of Goosebumps thanks to Netflix, and I have to say, it is still as good as I remember. But how about that big-screen adaptation we have been hearing about? Well, that sucker has just scored a release date! Pen and paper at the ready, guys.
According to the folks over at Variety, Rob Letterman’s Goosebumps, is scheduled to hit theatres this March 23, 2016.
The film stars Jack Black and Dylan Minnette.
[The] story is loosely based on the series and follows Minnette’s character who moves from New York City to the small town of Greendale, Maryland, where his secretive new neighbor turns out to be veteran young adult horror author R.L. Stine (Black). When all the many demons of Stine’s mind are set free by Slappy, a demonic ventriloquist’s dummy, it’s up to Minnette’s character and Stine’s niece Hannah to put all the evil genies back in the bottle.

So, lets hear what you guys think about the upcoming adaptation?
