Ether One Releases a Brain Bending Launch Trailer

Jason McDonald

The complex and delicate nature of the mind has always unsettled me.  The mind is an infinitely powerful tool that can easily break if mishandled.  A knock to your head or the discharge of a particular synapse is all it takes to irrevocably change your life forever.

Which is why I find “Ether One” to be so intriguing.  The game, which released a launch trailer that you can view below, sets out to explore a mind affected by dementia.  Literally.  You take the role of a Restorer who ventures into a person’s mind to try and repair the damage done by dementia.  Like an artist retouching a painting that has lost it’s luster.  But when your canvas is as complex as the human mind, who knows what could go wrong.

The game is being developed by White Paper Games and is set to release on March 25th on Steam for $19.99.  The studio is also offering some pre-order incentives if you purchase the game before the release.  To learn more about the offer, be sure to visit their page.  For now, check out the trailer below!

I’m not a gamer but like kXnPunk said it looks a lot like Myst which I LOVED! And its sequels! Tempted to get back into the gameplay!
