Jason McDonald 19 Comments Movie Page: The Human Centipede III (Final Sequence)

It’s been over two years since “Human Centipede 2″ wrecked a casual gathering I was having with friends.  We all thought the original film was hilarious and a great film to watch while we got wasted.  Then two came along and there weren’t enough beers in the house to save that viewing.

So am I eager to see part three? Yes, actually.  Because there’s always hope that it could be as memorable as the first one.  And with this first image, provided by Entertainment Weekly, I think there is a bit of hope to be had.   Dieter Laser  (star of the original film) is front in center of the first image along with Laurence R. Harvey who played the villain in the second sequel.

Tom Six, who wrote and directed the series, shared a bit of information about what the tone of the new film will be like.

(Human Centipede 3) will be totally different from Parts 1 and and certainly not as gross.  But it will be the most controversial one politically-wise. It will have a lot of self-mockery and will be the most darkly comical of the three. Parts 1 and 2 have a very European feel. Part 3 is very American with the highest budget, a big movie score, widescreen, and an XXL human centipede. It’s set in an American maximum security prison in the middle of the desert. Plot-wise I won’t share details yet but if you let your imagination run wild you might get ideas.

Also starring in the film are Eric Roberts, Robert Lasardo, Bree Olson, and Tom Six. The film is expected to hit theaters some time this year.
