Well, that was different. Below we have scored the first trailer for Onur Tukel’s Summer of Blood, which is making its way over to this years Tribeca Film Festival. And well, this sucker looks as if it has some potential, it’s a little out there I’ll give you that, but any vampire film that has blood and no sparkles already has my admiration.
Synopsis: Misanthropic and immature Eric faces a premature mid-life crisis after his girlfriend leaves him. With no career and even less charisma in bed, it seems like this loveable loser is beyond hope, until one fateful summer night when a vampire bites him in a Brooklyn alleyway. The next day, Eric finds his confidence invigorated and his stomach in excruciating pain that can only be cured by one thing…blood.
