Another day, another bit of remake news. This one just happens to be a remake of Eli Roth’s 2002 flick, Cabin Fever. Actually, there was once talk of the franchise receiving some sort of a reboot, but that kinda dwindled away and what we were left with was the prequel, Cabin Fever: Patient Zero.
Then talk of a reboot resurfaced, but it seems as if they’re focusing on just remaking the first film: according to Bloody-Disgusting, Indomina are set to put a remake of Eli Roth’s Cabin Fever into production.
Evolution Entertainment (Saw, Dead Silence, Death Sentence), along with Cassian Elwes and Evan Astrowsky, will produce the planned remake.
At this time we have no word if Eli Roth will be involved in any way, but as soon as we learn more we will let you guys know.
So, a remake of Cabin Fever, eh? What are your thoughts?
