After all these years I still haven’t got round to watching Adam Rehmeier’s The Bunny Game. This is one film I had on my radar and then unfortunately it just slipped away, I must rectify that stat! And talking of Rehmeiser, we have just received word of his latest film, Save a Bullet For Me, courtesy of our friends over at Bloody-Disgusting.
According to the site, Brightlight Pictures have teamed up with Mark Sandell to co-produce Adam Rehmeier’s latest flick, Save a Bullet For Me, which has been described as a western action horror film.
Adam Rehmeiser told the site;
This is not your grandfather’s Western. There are no heroes or morality tales. This is a visceral, animal of a film, stripped down to the most primal fight-or-flight level possible
For me, this film is an opportunity to combine several of my favorite genres in an exciting way, to create something that hasn’t been seen before in the cinema. It delivers enough splatter to quench any hardcore horror fan’s palate, yet the relentless, wall-to-wall action and historical backdrop will open it up to a wider audience.
The film is said to be set in the 19th century which focuses on the aftermath of a brutal massacre, where two wounded frontiersmen make a desperate last stand against an Indian war party.
Color me intrigued, this sucker sounds like it has some serious potential, but it is still early days. Let us know if this one tantalizes you?
