First Details and Casting for Carl Lindbergh’s Blood Angel

Chris Savage

Blood AngelFrom Carl Lindbergh comes his latest flick, Blood Angel, which has actually been in the pipeline for quite some time, but it finally appears as if the film is gaining some heavy momentum.

While it is still early days, this one sounds as if it could be something truly special, so make your way below and check out the log-line, and also a couple of preview videos which will give you a little taste of the tone of the film.

The film is set to star Bill Oberst Jr., Marshal Hilton, Arielle Brachfeld, and Maria Olsen.

SynopsisBlood Angel is a thriller/horror film about a time traveling Nazi scientist. Germany, early 1940’s. The Nazi regime are developing “wonder weapons” to win the war. The wonder weapons range from the occult to theorized time travel. The Nazi’s lose the war, but their secrets remain hidden until now. Blood Angel has elements of a slasher film, with intense scenes of gore, but there are deeper themes in regards to time travel. Such as mortality, the meaning of life, and reconnecting with loved ones. There is the gore to satiate the horror fans, but if they want a deeper meaning to the film, the characters have emotional undercurrents to their actions.

Filming is expected to begin in Los Angeles soon.

Thank you Chris! Carl Lindbergh’s “Blood Angel” is one of the strongest scripts I have ever read. Playing a time-traveling Nazi PLUS getting to work with Carl AND Maria Olsen? Are you kidding me? I will be in both actor heaven AND fanboy heaven. Badass and epic. Always, always an honor to be mentioned on the great Horror-Movies.ca!
