American Horror Story: Freak Show Will Feature a Scary Clown

When “American Horror Story: Freak Show” debuts this fall, Ryan Murphy will have a new trick up his sleeve to terrify audiences: a scary clown!

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, series creator Ryan Murphy dropped a few details regarding the upcoming season of AHS.  One of which was that a character named the Clown Killer would be hitting the scene.  Is he a clown that kills or a killer of clowns? Who knows! But Murphy did say that the new season would feature “…the most terrifying clown ever!”  And also a version of the bearded lady.  So, depending on your phobias, this upcoming season might be a rough ride.

Personally, I’ve never been bothered by clowns.  In fact, my subscription to sexy-clowns.com would prove quite the contrary.  However, I can see why certain individuals would be put off by them.  I mean, what normal human being makes balloon animals? That just isn’t natural.

Scarier than Pennywise?! If anyone can do it, this show can. Looking forward to it.

Is Tim Curry going to play the Clown Killer?

      6. VERY much looking forward to the new season. I was disappointed with last season (I felt they went for a younger audience and lost the darker tone that made AHS work so well). If they can capture the magic of seasons 1 and 2 again, this type of setting should get an additional “creep” factor as well.
