If you don’t know by now, then I’m honored to tell you that there is a sequel to “Sharktopus” and it’s coming at you soon enough.

Last month SyFy announced that they would be hosting a “Sharknado Week” to celebrate the release of “Sharknado 2.”  Also premiering during the event will be the sequel to SyFy’s first shark sensation “Sharktopus.”  The new film, called “Sharktopus vs Pteracuda”, will be a heart-pounding revenge thriller that pits mutated animal against mutated animal.  Here’s the full synopsis:

In this new Roger Corman movie, the child of Sharktopus goes toe-to-toe with the latest science experiment “Pteracuda” – half Pteradactyl, half Barracuda – in a battle for monster supremacy.

And now, for your viewing pleasure, I give you our first look at Pteracuda.  Bask in his glory!  The picture comes straight from Sharktopus’ Facebook page.  “Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda” premieres on Sunday, August 2 at 9PM.
