Celebrate 30 Years of Ghostbusters with this Re-Release Trailer

Chris Savage

Damn, can you believe it has been 30 years since the original Ghostbusters movie first hit? For me personally, it is one of those films that will forever stand the test of time and if you too are a fan, you will be pleased to know that the film is returning to theatres to celebrate its 30th anniversary.

SynopsisUniversity parapsychologists Dr. Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Dr. Raymond Stanz (Dan Aykroyd) and Dr. Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis) lose a research grant when their experiment methodology is proven to be bogus. The team decides to go into business for themselves and open ‘Ghostbusters,’ a ghost removal service. After struggling to get on their feet, they are summoned to investigate the strange happenings in Dana Barrett’s (Sigourney Weaver) Central Park West apartment. What they discover is that all Manhattan is being besieged by ghosts and other worldly demons through a portal in her building.

Look for the re-release in theatres this August 29th (Labor Day weekend) in the United States and Canada. The film has been restored and remastered in 4K!

You could make Ghostbusters, Gremlins and Temple of Doom (movies made in 1984) for 50 million dollars less than Transformers: Age of Extinction.
