Leatherface’s Early Years Scores a Writer

Chris Savage

A couple of weeks back came the word that the next Texas Chain Saw Massacre film would take place during Leatherface’s teenage years, and while details were slim and they still are, we at least now know who will be penning the flick.

According to The Wrap, up-and-coming genre scribe Seth M. Sherwood has been attached to write the prequel which is simply titled Leatherface for Millennium Films.

Plot details are still very much under lock and key but it is said that it will follow Leatherface’s early years in the 1970s.

So, what do you think will happen? Hit up the comments below and let us know.

This maybe an interesting and different point of view for the Texas Chain Saw Massacre franchise, (Hopefully making up for the 2013 TCSM Prequel.) Kind of like how we have seen a small bit of Freddy Krueger as a teen. I would love to see this and a black and white movie to better connect to the original TCMS and not the full color remakes.
