‘Seventh Son’ stars Julianne Moore and Jeff Bridges

Seventh-Son-Trailer-2-5If you are a fan of The Spook’s Apprentice novel and want more monsters and ghostly apparitions than you can shake a stick at, then look no further. Also, if you were curious where else you can find The Chronicles of Narnia star Ben Barnes, you can see him and more in the Seventh Son trailer. And we don’t have just one, but TWO trailers for you to look at! Pretty cool, right?

The Seventh Son is a fantasy film based on the novel The Spook’s Apprentice and is directed by Sergei Bodrov. The release date for the Seventh Son has been pushed back seemingly countless times and was originally scheduled for release February 22nd, 2013, but moved back to October 18th, 2013, to complete post-production.

I personally never hear of the story, but here is what we got on the movie:

In a time of enchantments when legends and magic collide, the sole remaining warrior of a mystical order (Oscar winner Jeff Bridges) travels to find a prophesized hero born with incredible powers, the last Seventh Son (Ben Barnes). Torn from his quiet life as a farmhand, the unlikely young hero embarks on a daring adventure with his battle-hardened mentor to vanquish a dark queen (Julianne Moore) and the army of supernatural assassins she has dispatched against their kingdom.

The movie will now be available to watch in 3D and IMAX 3D on February 26th 2015 and, well, it looks a lot like Dracula Untold as far and the epic-ly large scenes of spooks and monsters sweeping the country-side. Just take a look and you’ll see what I mean.
