Sam StrikeFor those of you that wanted a prequel to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, are in luck, as Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo’s Leatherface, is officially on the way and according to The Wrap, we may have just found out who will be playing the young Leatherface.

The site reports that EastEnders star Sam Strike (pictured, right), is currently in talks to play Jackson, the teenager who grows up to be Leatherface.

The film is expected to serve as an origin story that follows Leatherface’s early years in the 1970s, and was written by Seth M. Sherwood.

Well, that’s pretty much all we have for you at this time in regards to Leatherface, so let us know if you’re looking forward to this prequel or not?

I guess they are ignoring it?

That’s a shame, I kind of like that movie… Just like they did to TCM 2 in TCM 3D. What a mess…

Yep. It’s all over the place, shame there is no continuity anymore.

Me and the majority of TCM fans chose to ignore TCM 3d in fact. TCM 2 is such a classic!
Let’s see about this one. Thanks mr. savage.
