Scott Wilson Joins ‘Damien’ Series

Amidst all the hooplah surrounding A&E’s promotional stunt for their new series based on the original “Omen” film some actual news was also revealed today.

During their San Diego Comic Con presentation “Damien” Executive Producer Glen Mazzara revealed that he was re-teaming with a former “Walking Dead” star on “Damien.”  To the surprise of everyone in attendance Scott Wilson (aka Hershel Greene) took the stage and revealed that he would be appearing in the upcoming series.

Mazzara also briefly talked about the new series saying that it is a direct sequel to the original “Omen” film that’ll take place when Damien in his thirties.  According to Mazzara, that’s when Jesus came into his own. So you can bet that there will be plenty of parallels between Jesus and Damien.

“Damien” is expected to debut on A&E next year.
