We’ve been getting a lot of “Walking Dead” promotional material lately, but let’s not forget that after “The Walking Dead” finishes it’s current season we’re going to dive right back into another zombie adventure.
Returning this April is the “Walking Dead’ companion series “Fear the Walking Dead” and the series is most likely mostly filmed, we’re learning about a new cast member who is joining the fray. According to The Wrap actor Dougray Scott (“Tiger House”) has signed on for a recurring role in the new season.
There’s no word on who this new character would be, but even if they gave us a name we wouldn’t know since “Fear the Walking Dead” exists outside of the current comic book universe.
If you missed out on the first season “Fear the Walking Dead” acts a side story to the current “Walking Dead” series. “Fear” is set before the events of “Walking Dead” and in Los Angeles, so the first season gave us a brief glimpse into the early stages of the outbreak in an entirely different setting.
Scott will be joining actors Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane, and Alycia Debnam when the series returns on April 10th.
