Eli Roth Directed an Animated Trailer for ‘Dark Souls 3’- Check it Out Within

It’s always wonderful when my two favorite pastimes, horror movies and video games, converge in unexpected ways.  Take, for example, today’s offering.  Bandai Namco has partnered up with Eli Roth to create a new trailer for the upcoming game “Dark Souls 3.”

Apparently Eli Roth is a big fan of the “Dark Souls”/”Demon Souls” series, which comes as no surprise given the tortuous nature of the series. For the upcoming release of the third game Eli Roth has directed a new animated trailer titled “The Witches.”  In it a knight is tormented by witches in a rather horrific way.

Along with the trailer you can also see a behind-the-scenes video featuring Eli Roth and the creative talents at Six Point Harness.  As an additional bonus you can see a pretty rad ’80s themed trailer right here that has a great grindhouse feel to it.  Bandai Namco is really doing a bang up job advertising this one.
