Well, nothing gets better than having these two together, right? And as such, it brings us great joy to announce that Robert Englund and Lin Shaye will be reuniting once again on-screen in Travis Zariwny’s latest flick The Midnight Man.
According to the folks over at The Wrap, “Midnight Man is based on the old Pagan ritual “The Midnight Game,” though it doubles as an American remake of Rob Kennedy’s low-budget 2013 feature of the same name that was made in Ireland.”
The film is a co-production between the Latin American distributor Gussi Films and Zeal Media. Voltage is handling international sales and will begin shopping the project to foreign buyers in Cannes this spring.
Production of the film is currently underway in Winnipeg.
The Midnight Man follows a girl, played by Gabrielle Haugh, who plays a game with her friends that summons a creature known as The Midnight Man who uses their worst fears against them.
And that’s pretty much all the information we have for you at this time, but I’m sure we will be hearing much more about this one in the weeks to come. So, you looking forward to this? Let us know, and we’ll do our best to keep you updated.
