The sequel to “The Strangers” has been a long time coming. So much so that it’s hard to believe that I’m actually talking about casting news here. But here we are, talking about three actual people being hired for a part in “The Strangers 2.”
Deadline is reporting that Christina Hendricks, Bailee Madison, and Lewis Pullman have all joined the cast of “Strangers 2.” The film is set to be directed by Johannes Roberts whose most recent film credit includes the upcoming shark film”47 Meters Down.” The film is being written by Bryan Bertino who wrote and directed the first film.
Here’s what we know about the plot of the film so far:
The Strangers 2 follows a family whose road trip takes a turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park and the power goes out. As they hunker down for the night in a borrowed trailer, three familiar masked psychopaths pay them a visit to test their every limit.
Production is expected to start at the end of this month, so stay tuned for more details.
