Season 2 of ‘Stranger Things’ Gets a Release Date and New Poster

Jason McDonald

Netflix has produced a lot of great and varied content over the years, but nothing stuck with me quite as much as the first season of “Stranger Things.”  We’ve known it was coming back this year for Halloween, but now Netflix has revealed the exact date along with a synopsis and new poster.

Season 2 of “Stranger Things” will debut on October 27th,  a Friday, so if you have the weekend off it’ll be a perfect time to binge the new season.  Along with the release date we have this brief synopsis which offers very little information.  So no spoilers at least:

It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the demagorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.

And if that isn’t enough, here’s a fantastic looking poster to these things to come. I definitely want this on my wall.
