It was all the way back in February of this year when we learned that Bill Moseley would be playing a cannibalistic clown in Haynze Whitmore’s upcoming flick, Crepitus. Since then and that truly nightmarish image of Bill Moseley in full costume (see below), we’ve been anxiously anticipating this one, and while we don’t have a release date for you just yet we do have a brand new trailer for you to check out below. Let us know what you make of this so far?
Synopsis: Seventeen year old Elizabeth and her younger sister, Sam, are thrust into circumstances more terrifying than life with their abusive, drunken mother when they are forced to move into their deceased Grandfather’s house.
Frightened beyond belief, they learn horrible things about their family history. Never mind the ghosts in the house, there is something far worse that takes an interest in them … a cannibalistic clown named Crepitus.
The film is directed by Haynze Whitmore and also stars Eve Mauro, Chalet Lizette Brannan, Caitlin Williams, Lance Paul, Taya Parker, Darren Barcomb, and Johnny Stevenson.
Many are comparing this to Stephen King’s IT and I’m probably sure the people involved were certainly inspired by the novel, so I say bring on more clown horror goodness as it’s awesome at the moment and I’m genuinely stoked for this, but how about you?
