‘Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell’ Drops a Trailer and Release Date

Jason McDonald

I’m patiently waiting for that Kevin Bacon “Tremors” series to finally get off the ground over at SyFy, but in the meantime, I’m more than happy to get more Burt Gummer in my blu-ray player.  Universal has released the first trailer for the upcoming sixth “Tremors” film titled “Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell.”

In the film . . .

Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) and his son Travis Welker (Jamie Kennedy) find themselves up to their ears in Graboids and Ass-Blasters when they head to Canada to investigate a series of deadly giant worm attacks. Arriving at a remote research facility in the arctic tundra, Burt begins to suspect that Graboids are secretly being weaponized, but before he can prove his theory, he is sidelined by Graboid venom. With just 48 hours to live, the only hope is to create an antidote from fresh venom — but to do that, someone will have to figure out how to milk a Graboid!

Yup, milking a Graboid. This series is truly the best. Check out the trailer below, which is extremely brief, and then check out “Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell” when it hits blu-ray and VOD on May 1st.
