One zombie movie that is gaining a ton of traction is David Freyne’s upcoming flick The Cured. The film questions; what if a cure to the virus had been found but you remembered all the heinous acts you committed while being infected? Would you be cast out and could you eradicate those that can’t be cured? The film is set to hit the UK in cinemas this May 11th and then on Digital platforms this May 14th. Check out the details and official photos below.

The film stars Ellen Page (Juno, Inception, Hard Candy, X-Men: Days of Future Past), Sam Keeley (Anthropoid, Burnt), Tom Vaughan-Lawlor (The Infiltrators, TV’s Trial of the Century), and Paula Malcomson (The Hunger Games films, TV’s Ray Donovan).

SynopsisYears after Europe was ravaged by the Maze virus, transforming people into cannibalistic monsters, a cure is finally found. Senan Browne (Sam Keeley) is haunted by what he did while infected. As he returns to the home of his brother’s widow, Abbie (Ellen Page), fear and suspicion threaten to plunge the world back into chaos.

So what do you guys think of this one? Is this something you’ll be keeping an eye on and if you’ve had a chance to catch this one already, what did you think?
