Final ‘Sharknado’ Sequel to End with Time Traveling Shenanigans

I was a big fan of the few “Sharknado” films, but I have to admit I haven’t really kept up with the series.  And that’s not to say that I’ve turned my back against the series, but I feel like I’ve had my fill and don’t really need to dip back into that pool.  That being said, the pitch for the final “Sharknado” might just draw me in.

SyFy has announced that the upcoming sixth entry in the grand “Sharknado” series will be the last. Spoilers for “Sharknado 5: Global Swarming” to follow . . .

According to Deadline the sixth entry in the Sharknado film will pick up where the fifth movie ended.  Ian Ziering’s Finn is seen wandering a barren Earth after the last Sharknado completely ravaged it. In under to undo the disaster Finn somehow figures out a way to travel back in time to stop the original Sharknado and prevent any future disasters from happening.  Honestly, it’s the next logical conclusion and sounds like the perfect way to end the series.

The “Sharknado” series thrives on having crazy cast members appear, but so far all we know about the sixth entry is that Ian Ziering, Tara Reid, Cassie Scerbo, and Vivica A. Fox will star.

What do you think? Excited to see Sharknado jump its last shark?  Who would you want to see cameo? Personally, if we’re gonna do time travel, I’m hoping Christopher Lloyd gets a cameo.
