The last few trailers for the upcoming “Predator” sequel have left me feeling a little underwhelmed, but the newest trailer has marginally raised my hopes.
It’s not that I think the movie is going to be bad or anything. In fact, given that Shane Black is directing with a cast of huge talents, I’m hoping that it’ll be quite good. Still, the last few trailers have been kind of bland and haven’t really shown off what makes “The Predator” great. Thankfully, Fox has released a red band trailer that shows a bit of gore and mayhem.
From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.
“The Predator” will hit theaters on September 14, 2018 and will star the likes of Sterling K. Brown, Boyd Holbrook, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Munn, Trevante Rhodes, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane, Jacob Tremblay, Jake Busey, Yvonne Strahovski, and Augusto Aguilera.
Check out the trailer below and remember its red band, meaning not safe for work.
