First Trailer for ‘Halloween’ to Drop this Friday

I used to get all giddy about trailer releases, but the last time I really got swept up in the pre-release hype for a trailer for was “Infinity War.”  Okay, yes, that wasn’t too long ago, but I can’t even remember the last time before that that I was anticipating a trailer.

That being said, I gotta admit, I’m pretty excited to get our first look at the new “Halloween” movie.  And, thankfully, the long wait for that trailer is nearly over.  Taking to his Twitter account today Jason Blum (the madman behind Blumhouse) released a string of Tweets with one message: “Guess what? The Halloween trailer is dropping Friday. Boom.”

That’s right, our first look at the new “Halloween” movie will be revealed this Friday. Also coming out this Friday is the hotly anticipated horror “Hereditary.”  Sounds like marketing magic.  So keep your eyes peeled as we eagerly wait for the trailer to drop this week.

“Halloween” is being directed by David Gordon Green from a script he wrote with Danny McBride and Todd Farmer.  The film stars Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode, Judy Greer as her daughter, and Andi Matichak as her granddaughter. The film is set to release October 19, 2018.
