‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’ Could Make an Appearance at Comic Con

The wrath of San Diego Comic Con is nearly upon us.  Soon the unwashed masses will storm the beaches of beautiful San Diego and seize control from the local government.  And amongst all that madness, I’ll be in a crazed state of drunken crankiness. But hey, there’s still plenty of stuff to look forward too.

For example, it looks the upcoming sequel to the 2014 “Godzilla” will be making an appearance at this years San Diego Comic Con.  We don’t have much to go on, as is usually the case, but director Mike Dougherty took to Twitter tonight to make some vague suggestions that “Godzilla: King of the Monsters” will be stomping into the infamous Hall H for an appearance.

Could this possibly be our first look at the trailer?  The film wrapped production a long time ago and it’s not set to release until 2019 so it’s entirely possible they got enough done to tease the hell out of people.  Beyond the tweet nothing has been confirmed, so we’ll just have to wait and see what gets announced in the coming weeks.
