Mortal Kombat 11 Revealed at the Game Awards

Ahhhhh yeah.  It’s about damn time! This past E3 it seemed like there was a fatality sized hole missing from the presentations.  We were just about due for a new “Mortal Kombat” game, but sadly there wasn’t anything revealed and we were left wondering when the reveal would finally drop.  Well, wonder no longer because it’s finally here.

Ed Boon took to the stage at the Game Awards tonight to present the award for Best Sports game, but his presentation was interrupted by a surprise reveal.  Check it out down below.

I love that logo, it’s pretty damn slick.  “Mortal Kombat 11” is set to release on April 23.   Here’s an additional brief snippet featured on the YouTube video:

The all new Custom Character Variations give you unprecedented control to customize the fighters and make them your own. The new graphics engine showcasing every skull-shattering, eye-popping moment, brings you so close to the fight you can feel it. And featuring a roster of new and returning Klassic Fighters, Mortal Kombat’s best in class cinematic story mode continues the epic saga over 25 years in the making.

Can’t wait to see which horror games will make it the cut this time around.
