Cillian Murphy in Talks to Join ‘A Quiet Place’ Sequel

I don’t know if Cillian Murphy gets all the credit he deserves, but that guy is a fantastic actor.  I’ve never watched him in a movie and thought he was just set dressing.  No matter how small his role, he also has a great presence wherever he pops up.  So I’m definitely excited to hear about his latest possible role.

THR is reporting that Cillian Murphy, who has appeared in such roles as “Peaky Blinders” and “Batman Begins,” is in talks to join the upcoming sequel to “A Quiet Place.”  He would be joining returning star Emily Blunt.  John Krasinski is returning as a writer and director for the sequel.  Not a whole lot is known at this point and even Cillian Murphy’s casting brings more questions than answers.

According to THR Cillian will be playing a “man with mysterious intentions who joins the family unit.”  So yeah, odds of Cillian playing a bad guy yet again sound preeeeetty good.

For now we’ll just have to bide our time until more details come out, but so far things seem promising for the film.
