Can someone help me to figure out what movie this is?

I rented a movie maybe four or five years ago from the video store, and I can't recall what it was called. I'll tell you what I do remember though! Maybe someone knows what movies it is that I watched.

It opens with a black and white indie film playing in a theatre. These friends are watching it together. After its over they leave and go to this cottage or something up North where they plan on writing their own horror film. I think there was three or four people writing the screenplay. There was a scene where theyre sitting at a table passing around paper and taking turns writing. It was sort of comical at times. The humour was very dry and kind of awkward. In the end there actually ends uo being someone who is stalking the cottage theyre staying at and they have to survive his rage.

I can't remember all of the details but it was such a great film! Really interesti g and great acting. If I can remember more I'll share it here.

The cover may have been two people in bed with paper bags over their faces but that may not be it.

Thanks for your help!

"The Truck" an indie road horror

Hello from Lee Vervoort to the world of HM.CA and horror fans world wide. Introducing our next film currently in pre-production..."THE TRUCK".

Unfortunately we don't have much to show at the moment as we do not start filming for another 3 weeks, but we wanted to give everyone a little heads up notice as what to look forward to.

"The Truck" is an 80's throwback road horror film that tells the story of Roger and Alice who are a happy young couple on a weekend excursion to go look at an abandoned campground that Roger has inherited.

On the way there, they encounter an old four wheel drive that adds miles of terror. Is there anyone driving? Or is it driven by pure evil?

Filming begins in the latter part of March, and as of now has our favorite local actors Tim Emery as a Sheriff and Andy Grace as his deputy. Emery and Grace both participated in the Gun Town film which was released in 2009.

Music score will once again be provided by Danny Lee Ramsey of Little Hollywood Studios in Nashville, TN. who also has a cameo role in this road horror feature. We are also in talks with One Eyed Doll of Austin, TX. for additional tunes to be added.

Our locations are breath taking. A small town that is stuck in time with old brick buildings and such, the Copper Canyon Ranch that is providing the campground scene and our incredible location for the grand finale which we are not disclosing until you see the film. (can't spoil it!)

"Like" us on Facebook to keep up with tidbits as they are released.

https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Truc … mp;fref=ts

Incredible little student effort I saw last night, really tugs at the primal instincts of what pure horror is all about. Made on a shoestring budget of less than a packet of fags but some of the creepiest shit you could ever hope to witness. This is clearly a labour of love from film students who've watched far too many Argento films yet it's not derivative or secondary.

The ending is extremely Fulciesque and brings to mind the milky-eyed terror of his magnum opus 'The Beyond' but trust me guys, for a student film this is as nightmarish as all hell.

It's a short yet bloody frightening short little short film that'll make you wet your shorts:

Dim the lights, click full screen and be prepared to change your short shorts...

Enjoy from behind your blankees!!!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wW4JiK7xN8

Nosocomephobia - the 7 minute continuous-shot Zombie Film

Hello everyone at Horror-Movies forums!

My name is Jonathan Starr. I'm the writer and director of a really cool film called Nosocomephobia. A rabies-like plague brings a trauma center to it's breaking point, making it near impossible for Intern Dr. Amanda Gallagher to escape alive.

We're shooting it as a single 7 minute continuous-shot (no cutting), with lots of zombies, gore, and really fun elements being thrown into it.

Nosocomephobia means the fear of hospitals. At it's core the film is about fear and how it's affects the human psyche. What would you do to survive? If you're drowning, are you going to remain calm, or pull down your rescuer? When faced with imminent death, fear clouds judgment, and survival is the only thought.

Feel free to follow us here:
Website
Facebook
Twitter

We're getting pre-production finished up and we're shooting in about a month. However in the meantime we're trying to raise funds for the production. Check out our awesome promo video on the indiegogo page. It's also a single continuous shot!

To help us out feel free to donate (and get some cool perks), and/or share. Anything helps!

IndieGogo

Girls Night In. A New Psychological Horror Thriller

Trailer/Teaser :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kE229IQ9U8k

Join us :

http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/girls … /x/3142979

PITCH :

Home alone, Robin calls her best friend, Jessica, to come over that night to hang out in her room. As usual, they watch TV and gossip when suddenly, the landline rings and Jessica goes downstairs to answer it. Her friend Emma is in the other line and informs her that Jessica has died in a car accident.

Is it a sick, practical joke? Jessica is upstairs in her room... Or is she?

Synopsis :

We find one of our heroines on her bed, unknowingly left alone to tend the house whilst her parents are out. After lazing around for some time she invites her friend over to keep her company. They goof around and spend the next couple of hours doing their girly routine. Suddenly, the landline rings in the distance. She walks down the creaky stairs in the hollowing house and answers. Her friend, Emma, informs her of her friend's sudden and unexpected death. A sick, practical joke? Her friend is upstairs in her room. Or is she? That's when a flash news reports ignites the television on its own and a teen car crash is announced reporting the death of her friend. So, who is in her room ?

In this surrealistic "Scream" story, things aren't quite what they seem, and nothing seems to add up, but little importance because the tale plays with the linearity of facts much as a dream might and in the end we are exposed to the answer which leads to many more questions. The film doesn't search to explain nor complete it's sequences, yet one leads to another and they form a complete portrait.
