I've heard from Reggie Bannister that Don Coscarelli really wants to make a fifth film and wrap up the entire franchise.. A remake wasn't out of the question but he seems to think that a 5th film is more likely to happen..

Yeah my guess is that at some point in life we will reach a point where every horror classic has been remade, All i have to say about a Phantasm remake is that if they do it with out Angus Scrimm it will be bullshit cause he is the Tall Man ( http://movies.about.com/od/moviesinprod … 031005.htm ) But if they get him to play as Tall Man it will (Still be a remake!) but you know... what do you think?.
