My fave this year is Star Trek followed closely by Inglorious Basterds

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince!! Absolutely my fav of the year.

Up was pretty amazing. I can't honestly say my eyes didn't mist up at one or two points in the theatre. Pixar is tops.

I also really liked "Up". I got a hold of a bootleg copy of the DVD, too. I also liked Disney's "Princess and the Frog". I dragged my ma' to see that one.

Oh, and yeah--"Watchmen" was good.

I saw Avatar last night and it was exactly what I expected: mind blowing effects and visuals and a super weak story line. If you're the slightest bit interested go see it in the theaters because once it's out on video without all of the 3D it is going to suck.

It looks like the plot from Pocahontas as well.

Of the mainstream movies I've seen this year, easily Watchmen.  Because I'm a nerd like that.
