Some parts of the original are pretty hard to watch. I didn't have any problems finding a copy. I've seen copies at F.Y.E. and on tons of websites.

It depends on ur perspective, at the time it was released it was pretty bad, there IS about a half hour of rape, like 10 separate rapes, but it being remade is a bad idea b/c they cannot bring back that intensity to theaters or the MPAA b/c they will get fucked. I just heard about this movie coming out called i spit on your grave and it looked pretty cool. Then i found out that there is an orginal one, but when i went to rent it i found out it was banned. Is the movie that bad that it got banned?
